Stunning sunrise at base camp. Weather turned on day six and the team adjusted the plan calmly.
Guided 7-day sanctuary route from Pokhara to Annapurna Base Camp at 4,130 m, fully inclusive of ACAP permits, licensed guide and teahouse stays.

The classic Annapurna Sanctuary approach: drive from Pokhara to Siwai, climb through Chhomrong and the Modi Khola gorge, and stand inside the amphitheatre of the Annapurna massif at 4,130 metres. The itinerary includes an acclimatization-aware ascent and returns via Jhinu Danda's hot springs.
Yes. Effective 1 April 2023, the Nepal Tourism Board mandates that all foreign trekkers inside the Annapurna Conservation Area be accompanied by a licensed guide arranged through a registered agency. Solo independent trekking is prohibited.
The ACAP entry permit costs NPR 3,000 per person for foreign nationals and NPR 1,000 for SAARC citizens. Children under 10 enter free of charge. Our package price includes the permit.
ABC reaches 4,130 m. Our guides carry a pulse oximeter and record oxygen saturation daily, descend if symptoms worsen, and maintain helicopter evacuation arrangements through insurers in Pokhara and Kathmandu.

Permits were sorted before we landed, teahouses were booked, and the porters were treated properly. Hard days, easy logistics.

Our guide Pemba knew every stone on the ABC route. When my partner felt the altitude at MBC he had the oximeter out and a plan before we finished worrying.
